A proper skincare routine is an important part of one’s everyday self-care regimen. However, crafting a skincare routine that is right for your skin type can be an overwhelming task. Everyone needs moisture and hydration in their skincare routine.
Once you reach age 24 or older, your skin loses it’s moisture barrier, and moisture retention starts to decrease. After age 35, supplementing ingredients such as Vitamin C or Retinol help replenish our skin cells ability to remain buoyant, bouncy and youthful.
Hyaluronic Acid or Tremella Mushroom
These ingredients work with the skin cells to coat the epidermis (top surface of face) in order to trap moisture underneath. These ingredients penetrate and work with our skin naturally to produce noticeable results when added to your skincare routine.

Work thinnest to thickest. Having a cleanser that removes makeup and surface pollution, tones and exfoliates is best to use in preparation of your skincare (AHA, glycolic, lactic).
Next, apply your serum. Serums are used to target specific needs such as uneven tones, texture, dark spots.
Lastly, using a primer or moisturizer with silica, dimethicone, and SPF is perfect in preparation for makeup application! This will not only allow for the smoothest base for your makeup but will give you protection from UVA/UVB rays that cause damage to our skin!
